KEMFLO is committed to promoting resource recycling, practicing the principles of waste reduction and reuse, following3Rstrategy—Source reduction (Reduce), reuse in the production process (Reuse), and regeneration into value-added by-products (Recycle) and use incineration or landfill as the last disposal option. The company continues to optimize processes and management procedures to enhance overall resource use efficiency and implement the concept of a circular economy.
Due to the characteristics of raw materials and products, KEMFLO needs to use a large number of wooden pallets during the production process. Usable wooden pallets are recycled and reused, while damaged ones are handled by qualified waste disposal companies, prioritized to be sent to laundries equipped with legally operated wood-burning boilers as a steam heat source. If the processing capacity of the laundry has reached its limit, they are then sent to tofu skin factories to be used as boiler fuel.。2024年Effective recycling and reuse of wooden pallets, for those that are damaged and cannot be reused, the cumulative weight converted to energy use has reached161,690kilograms, improve overall material usage efficiency, achieve recycling goals.

Implement systems such as Lean Production, 6S management, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to reduce process scrap and unnecessary resource waste. |

Performance: The generation of industrial waste in 2024 decreased by 217.393 tons compared to 2023. However, the performance in 2024 grew by 17.8% compared to 2023, and the number of employees increased by 10.25%. This shows the effectiveness of waste management, such as:
1. Ensure proper classification
2. Encourage colleagues to bring their own cups/plates/bowls; use mugs when clients visit to reduce the use of paper cups.
3. Raw material/trimmings recycling for reuse in other downstream processes
